Biotech Research Center Peer-Reveiwed Publications
There have been numerous, peer-reveiwed, articles submitted by
faculty members and personnel on cutting-edge
research being conducted in the Biotech Research Center. These articles
have been published in scientific journals such as The Journal of
Biomechanics, The
Journal of Environmental Pollution and The Journal of Aquatic Ecology.
In 2009, over 70 article were published in diverse areas of
biotechnology research including Gentic disease, phycology, polymer
science, and biomedical engineering. This research is funded by sources
including the US Department of Energy, The National Science Foundation,
The National Institute of Health and the US Department of Agriculture .
Currently, funding from these organizations
totals over $11 million.
